Ponies and Bunnies

Jackson was invited to a cowboy themed birthday party last weekend,
so we let our horse-obsessed cowgirl tag along with him!

The boys were more interested in chasing the poor bunnies.
They were able to occasionally catch one.
Yesterday, we got ready for the big bunny to drop by and dyed our Easter eggs!

And this afternoon, we put those eggs to use!  Jackson was grabbing every egg he saw, while Katherine thought he only needed to grab the blue, brown, and green eggs.  She got a little upset when he started grabbing her pink and purple eggs.

Upset again at Jackson grabbing "her" eggs!
It was well past her nap time.
And we ended the day with a little egg batting practice!
Happy Easter!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHERINE!!!!

Our baby is FOUR!!
Katherine turns four today, and we celebrated with family
and some of her friends yesterday!
More than ready to head to her party!
Katherine really enjoyed having Emma here this weekend.
 A new big girl bike!

4 candles already on her cake.

We thought about having ponies at her party, but we couldn't get all the details worked out, so we had it at a gymnastics place.  The kids love the foam pit and trampolines.  Good thing we didn't have ponies since it rained all afternoon.
Grandpa couldn't resist the temptation!

Zach enjoyed himself just as much as the 4 year olds!

 Cake time!

Poor Jackson took a nasty tumble yesterday at the party
and now has a nice case of carpet burn on his face.
He's still cute with a few battle wounds!

Katherine and I took it easy this morning and met Daddy at Chick-fil-a so she could play.
And we broke out her bubbles she received!
4 little fingers.

Happy Birthday to our beautiful girl!

Batter Up

Jackson had his 2nd t-ball game last night and he played GREAT!!

His first at bat.

Even though he got out at 1st base, we're so happy he hit the ball!!  At his next at bat, he hit two foul balls, and then hit it off of the tee.  That time I think he understood more that he needed to hustle to get to base.  I don't have it on tape, but he ended up making it around the bases after his teammates also hit the ball and scoring a run.  From now on, I'll have to tape when it's his turn to bat.  He asked to see his 2nd hit and I didn't tape it.  Opps.

Zach has him playing 3rd base, and he stopped a hit and did great chasing the ball down at other times!  We were so happy afterwards, and so was Jackson!
