Britches

This is how I found Katherine when she woke up from her nap today.
I think she was more upset that I was trying to fix her pants for her.

A few minutes later, something outside caught their attention . . .
Apparently we have a 'pants' issue around here.

Getting Out the Door

On Monday, Jackson and Katherine had class pictures and I tried to get a picture of them smiling together before we left.  Alas, this was the best I could get.
Lately when we leave, Jackson has to have TomBaby and almost every single blanket in his drawer.  TomBaby sits in the seat beside him and the blankets are just thrown everywhere in the back of the car.
If Jackson has TomBaby, Katherine must have Sweet Ellie.
Usually Jackson says he needs help carrying everything, which should probably be my cue to tell him he can only take a certain number of items,
but then again we're trying to get out of the door and we really don't need any more delays.

Egg Eyes

Katherine and I have been a little under the weather today, so Zach came home early to help out and after Katherine and I took a nap, he and Jackson tried to get a little rest.  Katherine can be a bit noisy, so while they tried to nap I took her outside in an attempt to keep her from waking them.  Although I don't think it really worked, we had a fun time playing.

It's so hard to get her on camera with a good smile.
The scene earlier in the day when I was trying to give her medicine.
I don't know if the space she is in is even a foot across.  It seems she has constantly been sick since January and it's obvious she's pretty tired of medicine.  But, even when she's sick, she still manages a few smiles . . .

Watering the Concrete

Filling up their watering cans for an important job
of watering the concrete.
Time for a water break.

Proud of herself.
They ditched the watering cans when Daddy turned the water on them.

Jr. Firefighter

Jackson's class went to the fire station today, and of course, it was almost as grand as Christmas morning!

Jackson and his best buddy, Nicholas!
Checking out the inside of the firetruck!

Jackson and Nicholas were sitting beside each other just prior to these pictures, but they couldn't quit talking to each other or playing with their fireman's hat and were separated.  :)

 Watching the ladder go up!

On their way back to preschool!
Jackson was pretty proud of his badges and asked me not to take them off of his shirt when he had to get in the bathtub tonight!
I think he had a good time.   No, in fact, I know he did!
