Home Sweet Home
Our little fella is back home after a trip to grandparents and our house is lively once again. We were able to keep the house pretty tidy while he was gone, but within 5 minutes of him returning home, it looked like a tornado had torn through . . . and it still looks that way! Oh well, we're just excited to have him back! I know he had a good time, I just wish he could tell us all about it!

Zach and I are slowly re-landscaping (is that even a word?) our front yard and Jackson thought he would lend a hand today.
When I took the above picture, I didn't realize what he was using as his seat; I really thought he was squatting until I took my eyes away from the camera and saw him being a little too resourceful. The wind had blown over some plants which our heavy boy took advantage of; this didn't last too long!

All Aboard!!
Zach and I had to go to a CLE last week, so Jackson spent some time with grandparents and Emma! One of the malls in the Atlanta area has a train for kids to ride, so a special trip was made so Jackson could ride on it! They said he was yelling "Toot, toot!!" throughout the mall! I would have loved to have seen this, but I'm also glad I wasn't the one that had to pull him off of it!! (Thankfully, the report is that he didn't throw a fit!)

Happy Easter!
Spoiled or just Loved?
The Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi Easter Bunnies managed to find where Jackson was hiding out! Zach's parents sent the basket on the left; it was one Zach's mom and her brother hunted for eggs with and Zach eventually inherited! The basket on the right is from my parents and is personalized just for the little stinker! We didn't get him a "special" basket since he would have the other two, although it did have some fun train stuff in there!
Getting the hang of it!.jpg)

Between all the chocolate and dyed Easter eggs, he was filthy by the end of the afternoon . . . and truly worn out! We had a fun afternoon with him!

Around About
Our week has been pretty uneventful. The weather this weekend has been beautiful, so we've been outside doing some much needed yard work. Jackson once again has a croupy cough, but so far, it hasn't slowed him down. He is also telling us all sorts of stories about various things, we just wish we knew what he was saying! Along with trains, he now loves sticks--anytime we're outside, he carries at least one around. Speaking of trains, he still wakes up saying "toot, toot" telling us he wants to watch them, but now he's gone a step further--if we don't turn the train show on, he grabs the remote and starts pressing buttons while saying, "toot, toot"!

He also scraped up his elbow this weekend now that he's running everywhere. I'm sad to say that I'm sure these will be seen more and more. This time last year, his legs were so chubby without a single bruise or scratch, and now they're turning into little bird legs with bruises all over. He's really growing up!
His elbow then required a "Texas Size Cowboy" band-aid!
Yep, the week has been pretty uneventful . . . I'm writing about a scraped elbow. But sometimes uneventful is good
