Putting on his warpaint!
Our little Indian ready to go
Jackson had a hatchet and also a headdress complete with feathers, but just getting the outfit on him and keeping it on him was accomplishment enough. Have I mentioned he is extremely picky about his clothes? Just to name a couple--no tags in the shirts, no cargo pockets on the pants, doesn't care for blue jeans, and we added fringe to the list tonight. When we were trying on his outfit for size, he fought us tooth and nail, so to avoid the battle tonight, we ended up distracting him by taking him outside to get dressed.
Realizing he has the dreaded costume on and trying to get it off. We have really had a hard time with dressing up the last 3 years! Maybe it will get easier one of these days!.jpg)
Back home after stopping by houses of people we know. He was more interested in showing everyone the moon tonight rather than any candy--except for the suckers!.jpg)
Watching for more trick-or-treaters with Daddy!
We think he liked passing out candy more than going house-to-house asking for it!
Some of the trick-or-treaters! They even had trucks and four-wheelers pulling decorated trailers full of little kids! Toward the end, we were scrambling for candy with all of the swarm of kids that appeared!.jpg)
Out of candy + No more trick-or-treaters = One very unhappy little boy

After the battle of actually getting him dressed and out of the door, we had a fun night with him. I bathed him while Zach was handing out candy, and Jackson was so anxious to get back into the action that he never sat down in the bathtub and the whole bath lasted a whopping 3 minutes!
