Katherine is 9 months old and is a busy little girl!
This is the best picture I could get of her and the pillow since she was all over her crib . . . it was torture trying to get her to sit still! She is pulling up, "waving" bye, and tries to snort like a pig, to name a few new things! She also started off the new year with a new tooth!
We've been busy since Christmas and have made our move to Mississippi. While we've been unpacking and adjusting to our new house, Zach has started his new job and Jackson has started his new preschool. Speaking of preschool, Jackson brought this home and he was excited to hang it out for the birds! Don't let this picture fool you, he really was excited and couldn't wait to get out of the door, he just thought posing for Mom was overrated.
He actually missed the part about hanging it up and as soon as we walked outside onto the deck, he started calling for birds, and then threw it over the railing to the ground! I told him he needed to hang it up and we picked the perfect little tree and limb!
Meanwhile, while Jackson is at school or napping, Katherine and I play with bows! I've been putting one in her hair at least once every couple of weeks and they're finally starting to stay!
We had another first this past week--I put Katherine in the "big" bathtub for the first time and Jackson walked in and wanted to join in the fun, so they took their first bath together!
Katherine loved having him around,
and Jackson loved trying to squirt her face with water
(that's also what he was trying to do in the first bath picture above).
Don't worry, we made him stop.
And another thing Katherine loves . . .
and Jackson not so much.
Another thing he's still not fond of is the camera, but he did have fun mimicking me and yelling, "CHEESE!!" the other day while I was trying to get a picture.
This post is usually just of Katherine, but we been MIA almost 2 weeks, so I crammed several days worth of pictures or stories into one post, and our lives have been crazy the last 6 weeks with Thanksgiving and Christmas, finding and buying a house followed by moving, but we're hoping everything will settle down and we'll start enjoying our new house and new town!
