We'll Pretend
Jackson has recently discovered where I've been stashing the popsicles in the freezer and he's become obsessed with getting all of them out and "eating" them. So this afternoon, he got the box out of the freezer and helped himself.
No big deal, except it's 40 degrees outside, but we'll just pretend we're burning up after running around for hours in the hot sun!
He ate one bite
and decided it was time to get another one
He grabbed one out of the box and was telling me "Bye" while he was running off with it
He ended up getting to have the 2nd one since I wasn't up for dealing with the screaming fit that was sure to come if he didn't get it. Since he's been going to "school" he's started falling to the floor screaming if he doesn't get something he wants. I'm assuming he saw another kid do that and is trying it out to see how it works.
The popsicle was getting slushy and coming off on his chin. He was trying to lick it off, but not having too much luck!

Slow
Zach and I have taken this week day by day since we've both been pretty sick. With that, the camera has rarely made an appearance this week. Thankfully, Jackson hasn't caught anything and is still as hyper as always.
Catching a snuggle on Daddy's birthday!
The weather today has been beautiful, so Jackson was able to get outside for the majority of the afternoon!
Maybe the coming week will be a bit more eventful around here now that we're getting well and the weather is nice!

Our Little Girl
We got another look at our little girl this morning! We had the 4-D ultrasound done with Jackson, so we had to keep everything equal! Like our last ultrasound, she was really less than cooperative, but we were able to get a few good pictures!
She kept her feet and hands in front of her face pretty much the entire time! Here, she had her feet clasped together
Sticking out her tongue!
A look at her little face
I think she looks a lot like Jackson did when we had his 4-D done, with the exception that she appears to have some pretty full lips. We saw some hair, which I'm expecting a head full of with all of the heartburn/indigestion I've had. At times I've been afraid I would become addicted to tums. I remember after seeing Jackson, I thought his nose looked HUGE and was a little concerned as to what exactly he would look like; of course, I should not have been since he is the cutest little fella! :) She was still measuring around her due date of April 22 and appeared to weigh right around 3 pounds. We're looking forward to getting to see and cuddle with her . . . now we just need to get her room in order!

Valentine Snow
We FINALLY had our turn with the snow!! We didn't end up with the 4 inches that was predicted, but we had enough to go out and play in this morning! This was Jackson's first snow since he was 7 months old and he really wasn't all that into it. I think he was more excited that it wasn't raining and we were able to just go outside.
That sweet smile!
Once he woke up, I told him it had snowed and he started yelling something about snow while jumping off of the bed to run to the window to get a peek, acting like he knew what it was!
Checking this stuff out one small step at a time!
He pretty much played with his tractor the majority of the time we were outside! I had to throw snowballs at him to get him to flash a smile at me!
Once the sun broke through, the snow melted pretty quickly. We got in the grass some, but it's been raining since August, so the ground was pretty soupy and just plain nasty.
I was giving him some snow to eat and part of it fell on his collar. He then started trying to lick and bite it off of his collar!
And the sun is out and the snow is quickly disappearing. I promise that he does have a ski hat to wear, but he refuses to keep it on . . . this Ole Miss hat is the only hat we can keep on him! He also has little gloves, but refused to keep those on as well. I tried more than once to get them on him and as soon as I would, he would yank them off and throw them on the ground!
Jackson recently started going to a "preschool" a couple of days each week, so this afternoon we headed to his Valentine's Party. I have a few more pictures, but this one pretty well sums it up--he looked in his goodie bag, found the pencils, and could have cared less about anything else in there!

Trains Galore
My parents came up for a quick visit this weekend giving Jackson plenty of attention!

My Dad couldn't find all the track pieces for this particular track, so he ran to the store to buy even more! The trains have been running so much, I hear the noise they make in my sleep!

Dots
Jackson found some felt stickers (the ones you put under things so your furniture won't get scratched) tonight and was entertained for quite a while!
.jpg)
If only he had put these on his Christmas list!
.jpg)
Now I'm sure we'll be finding these stickers all over the house for the next week!

And then Daddy walked in . . .
and Jackson looked up at him, grabbed his hand, and melted my heart
