We FINALLY had our turn with the snow!! We didn't end up with the 4 inches that was predicted, but we had enough to go out and play in this morning! This was Jackson's first snow since he was 7 months old and he really wasn't all that into it. I think he was more excited that it wasn't raining and we were able to just go outside.
That sweet smile!
Once he woke up, I told him it had snowed and he started yelling something about snow while jumping off of the bed to run to the window to get a peek, acting like he knew what it was!
Checking this stuff out one small step at a time!
He pretty much played with his tractor the majority of the time we were outside! I had to throw snowballs at him to get him to flash a smile at me!
Once the sun broke through, the snow melted pretty quickly. We got in the grass some, but it's been raining since August, so the ground was pretty soupy and just plain nasty.
I was giving him some snow to eat and part of it fell on his collar. He then started trying to lick and bite it off of his collar!
And the sun is out and the snow is quickly disappearing. I promise that he does have a ski hat to wear, but he refuses to keep it on . . . this Ole Miss hat is the only hat we can keep on him! He also has little gloves, but refused to keep those on as well. I tried more than once to get them on him and as soon as I would, he would yank them off and throw them on the ground!
Jackson recently started going to a "preschool" a couple of days each week, so this afternoon we headed to his Valentine's Party. I have a few more pictures, but this one pretty well sums it up--he looked in his goodie bag, found the pencils, and could have cared less about anything else in there!
