Revisiting October

I'm backtracking and posting pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch in October.  Life gets busy and work became overwhelming during that time, and I'm finally catching my breath.  The kids and I had Columbus Day off, so we headed to the pumpkin patch.  The weather was questionable, but we went anyway and only got caught in one little downpour.

As much as they can annoy each other (thankfully, usually only when they're tired), they love each other and watch out for the other one.

The pumpkin patch had a new addition of a "city".  They had a church, school, and jail to name a few.  Katherine's favorite was the jail.  Hopefully this isn't a foreshadowing.

They have such a fun time at places like this that I hate the fun is only available once during the year.  At least they enjoy while they can. 

December Fun

Whew!  December has almost passed us by, and we've been busy!

Zach can get a little excited over other people's stupidity.  

He got excited over this situation.  

 The guy buying a 20 foot tree was hauling it on top of his tahoe and driving back to Louisiana.  Talk about a lack of common sense.  We stared and took pictures for prosperity.

Jackson took a liking to this bunny.

Skip forward and we spent a weekend in Alabama.

Katherine was all smiles for us!

 Katherine said she wanted to ride the bull, so Zach bought her a ticket.  Of course, she backed out and Zach couldn't let a ticket go to waste.

  

Back at the house, they each opened one present before dinner.

 Austin got the surprise of the night--a car!
