Crayon Train

Have I mentioned Jackson is still obsessed with trains?
Apparantly, anything can be a train

and all "trains" can have a wreck

but, at some point you must return

to the real thing

Bed Bug

Jackson has become obsessed with getting on our bed and throwing off all of the pillows or hiding under them playing hide and seek while squealing at the top of his lungs.  He's entertained himself each morning this week for quite a while just playing with pillows.  If we had only known at Christmas

Squealing after he's been "found"

Play Food

Just a couple of places where we've found Jackson's food
(ahem, junk food; I'm a little embarrassed to post these!)

Golden Crisp cereal from this morning

I think it's safe to say from these pictures that our child would probably not be the poster child for healthly eating.

In All Meanings of the Word Trash

I walked outside yesterday to see what Zach and Jackson were up to and saw this

I promptly told Zach all that we needed now was for me to take my shoes off while sporting this huge belly

And Everything Nice

We headed to Alabama this past weekend for yet another shower!  We came home with sooo many cute outfits and thoughtful gifts!  What a wonderful way to spend a weekend!  Now that we are finished traveling until after her arrival, we need to get to business on her room.  It's been painted . . . which is all that has happened.  It's really hitting me she may be here soon--at this point, Jackson was making his arrival in just over a mere 3 weeks.  Yikes

Emma's reaction when Grandmother told her she was going home with her!

Twirling around!

Helping with the presents!

And this is what goes on when the boys are left alone

Emma and Jackson

On our way home . . . we stopped at a gas station and these huge suckers were at the counter and Jackson spotted them.  At least it kept him occupied for about an hour during the 9 hour drive.

These things were bigger than a golf ball

After we got home, Jackson came across the leftover cakes.  He devoured this one . . . he's not really into eating much of anything, so for him to completely finish this piece means it must have been pretty good.  Maybe it was all the sugar in the icing!

Sugar and Spice

Even though we're expecting Baby #2, Zach and I were lucky enough to have a baby shower this weekend that was just as fun and grand as when we were expecting Jackson.  This time, it was just the girls rather than couples.  We've been friends for so long and I wish we could all get together more often rather than every year or two when someone has an event to celebrate.

The centerpiece . . . I can't describe how CUTE it is!
Hats off to Leslie and Jay!

Delicious!

With the hostesses who did an amazing job!

Can't leave the grandmothers out

Once we got home, I put almost everything out since I didn't get pictures like this at the shower.  I think our little girl is off to a good start and is a very lucky lady already to have so many people who already love her so!

The beautiful blanket Ms. Linda made . . . I can't wait to wrap her up in it!

Did I mention how cute this is?
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful and fun shower!  We have great family and friends who are extremely generous and sweet to us!
